On this day, the Rt. Rev. Kenneth Price joined the people of Trinity Church to discuss discuss the Anglican Communion and the Episcopal Church’s ongoing role and presence in that community, and Communion Matters: A Study Document for the Episcopal Church. This document, written by the Theology Committee of the Episcopal Church’s House of Bishops, sets out a foundation for our historic relationships with the thirty-seven other churches in the world-wide Anglican Communion, and our shared connections to the Archbishop of Canterbury. It also begins a response to the Anglican Primates’ communiqué of this past winter regarding issues raised over the past several years within the Communion.
