February 17, 2008- The Second Sunday in Lent

On February 17, 2008 Trinity Church hosted the 5th annual Senior High Exodus gathering. Sponsored by the Diocese of Southern Ohio Youth Ministries, Exodus is a weekend experience designed and implemented by a team of high school students and their chosen mentors, built on the Anglican principles of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason.

The sermon for this day, the Second Sunday in Lent, was given by Caldwell Reed, one of the Exodus V Youth Leaders, and a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Springfield, Ohio.

February 3, 2008 - The Last Sunday after the Epiphany

Sermon for the Last Sunday after the Epiphany (celebrated as Appalachian Sunday in the Diocese of Southern Ohio), by Mr. Mike Harden.

Mike began writing a five-day-a-week newspaper column in Columbus in 1981. The column went nationally syndicated in 1989 and began going out to 350 newspapers across the U.S. His work has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize three times, and last year earned him the Will Rogers Award in Journalism. He is the author of eleven books. Mike and his wife Deborah have four children and live in Columbus. He has deep roots in the Appalachian region.
